2150 W. Lawrence is a combination of a renovation & addition to an existing 18,000 square foot, 4 story building.  The addition consists of adding two stories to the existing building, and constructing a new six-story structure adjacent to the existing.  The total project consists of 59 apartment units, three retail spaces, and indoor/outdoor parking, with an occupiable roof deck, and totals approximately 90,000 sqft.  The project is being built primarily out light gauge metal framing and precast concrete plank, and clad in masonry, windows, and storefront.  The lightweight structural system allows the six story building to rest on a shallow foundation system.
